  1. Unfortunately the sale of my Track Bike has just fallen through, the lad who was buying it has just shattered his hip in a mountain biking accident and the docs have told him it will be over 12 months before he's back on 2 wheels!

Anyway, the bike is a 2002 Suzuki GSXR600, originally campaigned by Guy Martin before being sold and used as a Road Race bike in Ireland for a few years. Since then it has had 3 owners (including myself) and has been used solely as a Track Bike.

The bike itself has no V5, It does however have intact engine and frame numbers so can be checked if you so wish.

    The spec is as follows:

    ported and polished head
    Yoshimura Thin Head Gasket
    Yoshimura Cams
    Power Commander 3
    K&N Air Filter
    Full Arrow Exhaust System
    Ohlins Fork Inserts
    Maxton Rear Shock
    SBS Race Sinter Pads
    R&G Crash Bungs
    Harris Rearsets
    Custom Seat

I also have a decent spares package to go with it including Wets on wheels (the front is missing one disc but its a piece of cake to swap them one over), different sprockets to change the gearing along with spares for the rearsets and spare clip-ons just in case of an off. I will also be throwing in a set of tyre warmers and front and rear paddock stands.

The bike has also recently had a new chain and front sprocket (-1), a new clutch and a full service. Its ready to go and a very capable trackbike, it pulls very well for a 600 easily keeping pace with more modern bikes. Ok she's getting a little long in the tooth but spares for the earlier GSXRs are plentiful and it will make for a superb first trackbike (it taught me loads about track riding) or as a wet bike if you are worried about throwing your pride and joy down the road.

    Here are a few pics.

I will try to get some decent close up pics of the bike over the weekend when I am home if anybody wants them.

Its a trackbike so its not pristine, there are some rubs and scratches on the paintwork, the can is dented in a couple of places and it has been down the road a couple of times (all race / trackbikes have) but has always been properly checked and repaired afterwards.

I am after £1750 ONO for the full package which I think is a very reasonable price considering the history and spares, I will be gutted to see it go but I have a little un on the way and I just don't have time to use it properly.

    Thanks for reading
