Just wondered if anyone here has bought an ex manufacturers bike i.e. press/demo bike. Looking at buying a secondhand bike reregistered to the manufacturer and when looking at a couple of reviews on YouTube I think it was being ridden by Lamp Chops but haven't confirmed the reg yet apart it's LX which is the reg number for Aprilia. Bike looks in good condition with a couple of marks on the seat unit where it looks like someone has had a tail pack on it. Whilst it may have being ridden harder than normal Joe public it's still hard to thrash a modern bike to the point of causing damage to it unless from cold? I know the ex CSS bikes seem to sell well put are priced lower. Bike will come with remainder of warranty plus it will be extended. After testing the shops demo bike I love the bike but realise its easy to get carried away without a pause for thought.
I have never bought one, but aren't demo bikes are often loaded with all the extras? Could be an extra bonus!
No bog standard but obviously full service history. To be honest it only needs a can for looks as the standard one sounds fantastic.
This was an ex press bike https://newatlas.com/pre-production-honda-cb750-usd263725-world-record/53667/
