Exhaust change

  1. Hi guys
is it easy to change my full termi exhaust back to my stock exhausts?
I am asking cos My dealer told me that my current full termi system has a different ECU which comes with the full termi system.
Is there any thread that you know of that explains the procedure??
    many thanks guys

  2. Do you have the original ECU? As the DP ECU would be better going with the exhausts and there are fuelling/ignition differences to stock.

Was the Lambda sensor removed? If so, this will require refitting with the stock ECU otherwise you will get a MIL on the dash.

The longest part will be taking the fairing off to get to the ECU. The exhaust is 3 bolts and 2 springs to take off. The ECU is just under the battery and held in place with two bolts and has two 'cam' type electrical connectors. Refit is a reverse of removal for both the exhaust and ECU, just remember to refit the little earth lead under the bolt of the ECU.

A TPS reset would be nice, but not essential.
