Has anyone had the exhaust covers powder coated? Curious to know if they get hot enough to blister the coating or if they stay cool enough. Thinking of going black with them if they can be powder coated.
Exhaust covers, the 2 (or is it 3) part metal fairing over the horizontal cylinder exhaust ? If so, mine are powder coated and I have had no issues at all. Andy
No it's the actual exhaust can covers. But if you have had hotter parts coated then surely the ally cover should be just fine
Yes.... did mine on my 2011 S. Went to Powder coat black from the strange red anodise that it had originally. I’ll try to find pics later. No issues, I hasten to add.
