I have an asymmetric system on my 999. Disaster today as the pipe broke clean off at the manifold. The bike was in earlier this year and I reckon the exhaust system has been cooked while they were trying to reset the tps. I noticed a crack in the can, the number plate had been changed and the rear light has been melted too. The exhaust spring broke off last week too, so I think a combination of all these has eventually taken its toll. So, question is, can I weld it? Is it just stainless on the pipes and titanium on the can. Or.....does anyone have the smaller diameter pipe for sale? (I know, hens teeth, rocking horse shit) All the best G
I had my 999 system welded up several times, not all the Termi end cans are Ti in fact I stand to be corrected but im sure all the asymmetric end cars are steel
