1260 Exhaust Manifold Gasket Change On Vertical Cylinder

  1. Hi there,


    A vey short question for Multi 1260S, MY2019.

    Is it possible to replace exhaust manifold gasket on vertical cylinder without disassembling whole bike?

    I managed to tighten all 3 copper bolts without disassembling anything (they seemed a bit loose), but wonder, if I manage to loose them and remove them, can the exhaust pipe be moved enough to replace the gasket...?

    because I still see small leak coming when cold.
    When it heats up, it seems fine.

  4. Then leave it as it is if it's not constant. It's not worth the aggro.

  6. Absolutely, always let the dealer take care of issues during the warranty period. This creates a record should there be future problems. Be sure to let them know there were loose manifold nuts
