Exhaust volume record

  1. As there have been lots of questions about exhaust volumes on track days I thought it might be an idea to make a note if you've had a noise test at a track day for people to use as a reference/guide.

    We'll need bike, spec and volume

    Mine today :

    Ducati 848 evo Corse Se 2013
    Termi slip-ons - baffles out
    102db at 5500 revs
    RAF Odiham

  3. You can get noise meter apps for smart phones, but I've no idea how accurate they are.

    1198s full termi system
    Brands Hatch
    110 db baffles out
    103 db full baffles in
    105 db half baffles

  5. you can get a reliable sound pressure meter for about 15 quid.
