Hi During a recent trip to Austria covering 2100 miles my wife who is quiet tall was saying the the footrests could do with being a bit lower. Anyone attempted this or got any ideas ? Thanks
I think your best bet would be to get a local engineering firm to machine you a set using your existing ones as a template for the fittings
I was looking for a similar solution for my 1260 Multi a while back as GF of the time complained about panniers getting in the way so wanted to move pillion pegs a little further forward. These seemed to fit the bill but wound up changing girlfriend instead... Model for the V4 being different to that for the 1260. Not sure if compatible with pillion footrest mounts though, further investigation/enquiry required.
Gilles Tooling do an adjustable footrest kit. Straight replacement which attaches to the OE footrest mount and there are 2 lengths of drop arm, up to 40mm it I remember correctly. Something like this. Andy
