just booked the summer holidays for next year,nine days at misano taking in the wsbk round. iv also sent off a request e mail for the factory tour,so with luck I should receive an answer soon. iv visited the factory probably about ten years ago so looking forward to see the changes,also visited Ferrari once when ducati wouldn't let us through the gates ( hadn't booked ). sooooooo is there a dealer showroom near the factory worth a visit??????etc etc.
Turn right out the factory and at the end of the road is the main Ducati factory store. Some bikes on display plus all the clothing range etc. It's closed for an hour over lunchtime. Not sure where the nearest dealer is.
I did my tour on the Sunday at WDW, which meant it was empty and quite. Would love to go again and see the place in action
If you join one of the official clubs (DOCGB, DSC, SDC, UKMOC) you will get the tour free instead of the €10 it normally costs. You can also show your membership card in the shop for an extra discount.
If you want to know where Ducati dealers are anywhere in the world, go to this Dutch website: http://www.javawa.nl/div_pois.html scroll down to Ducati, click on "Toon op kaart", and zoom in to the area you want. When the red Ducati shields appear, click on them to see dealer contact details.
e mail back from ducati informing me they cant schedule tours for 2015 yet and will inform me when they can.......grr
