  1. Just had an e mail from Ducati confirming my factory tour for sept 7th before moto go in Misano , can't wait.

  2. Enjoy, it's a good tour. I think you'll see the redesigned museum by then too.

  3. Oh and if your not on a Ducati you'll have to park on the rd outside my mates thought I was pulling the leg when we went and I said honda's have to park elsewhere .

  4. @idrinkbeer. What was the tour like ? Can you do the factory tour and museum visit all in one day ? I'm considering flying out there in Jan/Feb and not sure if I'm better off doing a night in a hotel or fly back that same day.

  5. Yes, you can do the factory tour and museum visit in one day - half a day.

  6. I'd go for a night in a hotel to give yourself a bit of time, you don't want to be clock watching. There's also the factory store a short walk up the road from the factory itself to go and spend a few Euro in. Do Ducati on day one after arrival (you have to book the tour before departure remember) then, if you were to get an evening flight back on day two, you'd probably have time to drive down to the Simoncelli museum if you wanted, or closer to Bologna are also the Ferrari and Lamborghini museums if those are of interest.

When I went we stayed in a hotel near the town centre and enjoyed a meal in the evening. From memory hotel wasn't expensive, though the exchange rate was better then!

  7. Yea book the tour via internet, they will ask for a couple dates in case your first isn't available, I shouldn't think it will be a prob though. If staying longer the Ferrari museum is a great experience esp the early cars. The simoncelli museum is nice also respectful but is it worth the 80/100km drive ??? My money is the Ducati and Ferrari tour or feck the euro and come over to gods country for the nw200, visit joeys bar, Millsport open day on the Friday and weather permitting some fine racing. Oh and Guinness , great food and great Craic !!!!!
