Does anyone out there know how much a 998 with under 8000 miles with termi pipes is worth. It's in great condition with newish tyres had a major service around 300 miles ago including valve clearance. It's a biposta with a mono seat unit. Any ideas you guys?
It's a standard one yeah? Probably £8000-8500, I know it sounds like a lot to some but they are pretty well in demand and bloody brilliant? Maybe even as much as £9000 if it's mint? Some dealers are asking well over £10k for rarer models
You buying or selling, buying I guess? @bettes has just bought one and had a good luck round, his is higher mileage but an S model. I have a stunning one which I was thinking of perhaps letting go, less mileage too... (unsure though) it is in the proper colour too being yellow
I do a bit of buying and selling Ducatis. I've just bought this one so just getting a few ideas from the experts. I know the time of year Xmas round the corner and all that but thinking of selling maybe in the spring.
No snub intended but I'm in the yellow camp even if, as some would have you believe, it is slower. Thanks anyway. Andy
Here's mine, low miles, motor built to S Spec (apart from deep sump) from new for a guy who wanted a Bip S but couldn't get one at the time. Carbon body work, standard seat - with unpainted carbon mono and all other bodywork bubble wrapped from new Slipper Clutch, Ohlins, full Termi Race System (think they were 50mm but not sure), Gilles Rear Sets and I think magnesium wheels (but not weighed them - they have webs in the spokes unlike the standard wheels) All original parts too. Was thinking of putting it back to standard and sell the bits separate - but it is yummie so is still with me... plate really needs to go on my 999R Fila: MY52 DUC - as 52 was world champ winning number in 2004. Bike is an 03 plate.
