I'm in need of replacing more than a few of the fairing bolts and especially the well nuts on my dear old ST4, as they definitely perish over the years. I've seen some 'complete' kits available on fleabay sent from China. Has anyone checked these out, as they do mention that the heads are very slightly smaller? Is the £30.00 worth it or should I be looking else where? Thanks
I've used these people for various bits. Worth a look... M4 well nuts just as an example: https://www.speedyfasteners.com/products/m4-rubber-well-nuts?_pos=1&_psq=well&_ss=e&_v=1.0
have also used above and a good alternative to the original. Take your time selecting the height of the fastener as if too deep then standard screws might not reach the threaded portion on an "uncrushed "well nut replacement.
Well... Speedyfasteners did the job perfectly. I received a full set of stainless steel fairing bolts, well nuts and nylon washers for everything fairing/screen related from them on Tuesday morning. Absolutely excellent service.
