Fairing Nut/bolt Kits

  1. Apologies if this has been covered before - had a quick look but didn't find anything. I have a ST2 and a ST3, and always need screws and replacement well-nuts. All of the suppliers of kits on eBay seem to be in Hong-Kong or China. Even those that like to pretend they are a UK supplier are really in the far east. My last purchase is marked as delivered but was not delivered to me. At the moment, I have to battle the supplier to find out where it was sent and can't just ring up. This could be sorted out in minutes if I was dealing with a UK supplier. Apart from Ducati dealers, does anybody know a UK supplier of fairing fastener kits?

  2. I was just looking at their web site as you posted. Tried ringing and there was no reply. Here we go again, I thought. Tried again just now and it was answered straight away. They have just go back from holiday in the US! So fair enough, I will be using them. Thanks for the quick reply.

  3. Glad I could help -- I got mine from Speedy Fasteners, so you should be OK.

Also, if you want "fancy" s/s (e.g, bolts with polished heads, etc.), you might look at http://stainlessmiddleton.co.uk/

The website is not always as informative as it might be, but the stuff itself is good, in my experience.

  4. Ordered from Speedy already but Middleton looks good, as well. I think from now on, I will just order the bits that I want rather than kits. Between Speedy and the rest, I can get everything that I need in the UK,

  5. I've had three complete sets from Desmo Parts in the States and they've been brilliant, you even get the large Allen head and profiled spacer for the fairing centre section.

  6. What is their website? Tried searching and all I get is some Facebook page. I would of thought that selling stuff is more important than messing about with Facebook. I don't do Facebook.
