Don’t know if any of you lot watch this but I was watching an episode of the latest series last night and they were doing up a 1937 Buick Indy Car. it had knock off wheel spinner nuts on it, now if I recall correctly they had reverse threads on the left side of the car so that they wouldn’t undo themselves while the car is going forward. They were standing on this huge spinner removal bar thing trying to remove it counter clockwise, then got the hammer out and he said “oh it’s going now” as he was bending the spinner until it snapped off! a few mins later cuts to another one of the “monkeys” turning the nut clockwise to remove it, no clip showing them realising they were tightening up the thing
I watched that episode , all the knock offs I have seen always have an arrow to show which way to turn , since Aaron Kaufman left it seems like nobody has a clue .
Well said . Whose skill and expertise is adding real value to those vehicles ? [ Hint - it's NOT the phone jockey !! ] Very similar story with our own " Wheeler Dealers "
