Just came back from 4 days in Scotland and on the way up after about 200 miles and the 2nd fuel stop my bike wouldn't start and the dash was behaving weirdly and also could here the electronic suspension making noises We eventually got it going after jumping it off a car only to die again 3 miles later. We eventually got a new battery and after that all was ok ..... until today when I washed the bike thoroughly and then when I started the bike up the EML was on took the bike out for a short blast and light remained on so, I disconnected the battery for 15 mins and when connected it back up the light went out' Ive now plugged the OBDstar in and got 2 fault codes. 1 is bluetooth related and the other is ECU P0346 'Vertical cylinder intake cam phase signal error (Signal interference) Anybody know what this is ?? I did a little digging around and think it could be because of the battery dying but then why did it only come on when I washed the bike, which makes me think it could be something else Any help guys Thanks
Possibly item 23 here. £50+VAT from your local Ducati dealer. Though check wiring first and then maybe swap over the exhaust and inlet sensors as they're the same part number and test again to see if the error changes accordingly to verify. You might get lucky and find it's the connector or wiring for an easy fix...
