Has anyone ever bought anything as a result of these things? I have bought via email campaigns, groupon springs to mind, but thats always after I have chosen to get something into my inbox. I can safely say FB or any other banner ad, incl here or any other forum, has not made me buy a thing. I may have clicked thru (so someone has been paid ;-) ) but never buy
