Fe European Chrono Events...

  1. I did a FE Chrono at Donington last year and liked the idea; riders got moved into the correct groups at lunch time.

Doing a 4 day Chrono with FE at Portimao this year; curious as to how often they move the riders into groups on a multi-day event...

    Any comments?
    Cheers,

  2. Did Cartagena in March last year and riders were moved around every day mid morning and after lunch as some got faster and others didn't. I'm sure it will be the same at Portimao. Andy

  3. Expect to pay 10euros if you actually want to see your times.

  4. usually lunch on 1st day then 1st thing or lunch on second day, then it doesnt usually change much after that unless really necessary e.g. the nature of the event changes (e.g. spanish riders for 1 or 2 days)

if you think you are in the wrong group you can always ask to be moved

  6. FE don't give times out till after the event
the other brits and euro operators that run transponders are generally less anally retentive

  7. The chrono works pretty well, people placed into the group that suits them and not by how fast they say they are, lap times are always good to see when u get back. I done Aragon a couple year ago and there were only around 50 people on the Friday, they ran 2 groups, then 3 groups on the sat sun, 1x Spanish only

  8. Oh yeah, every 3rd euro u get 10% off and you're 7th event within 2 years is free, but has to be Almeria or cartagena
