For Sale Genuine Uk 748 Sps 1999
Hi All,
For sale, on this site only till the end of the month, I want the bike to have the best chance of staying within the forum.
1999 genuine 748 SPS, UK bike, low owners, genuine 5600 miles with great provenance of books, manuals, old mot's and lots of reciepts over the years. Comes with original gold stand, new bespoke tailored soft cover, standard heel guards and pipes boxed with fittings, it will also come with a new Harris stainless paddock stand and optimate 4 connector and has the improved Battery leads fitted, she also has carbon chainguard and rear muddy as shown.
I searched for a long time to find the best bike possible and I believe this is it, it is in showroom condition and one of 20 bought to UK in that year. I also contacted Ducati to verify the bikes details and they did and this will go with the bike of course. I bought the bike in November 2017 as an investment and an occasional rider, but alas it needs to be sold for a genuine reason. The bike was purchased... -

1200 DVT Finally Cleaned My Multi.....
After being guilted into it by @Lord Farquaad and his immaculate DVT, I removed the bellypan, and went to town on the engine with paraffin and a brush, then spent nearly the whole day cleaning the rest of the bike. Am pleasantly surprised at how well it's come up after 2 winters of salt and crap. New chain, two new tyres and it's now ready to go. (Note Ducati forum stickers on screen) -

1260 1260 Vs '15 Dvt - Back-to-back
Picked up my 1260S Touring in white on Friday morning. Have only done 100 miles but thought I'd share my initial findings, much of which you probably have already have read about,
The display - big improvement, both in terms of readability and also the user interface. I never had a problem with the old screen but the new one is noticeably clearer. The interface is much more representative of a modern bike and not so much an 8-bit games console. Animated sequences on things like gear changes, display options, etc, is a nice touch.
Heated grips - a very noticeable improvement. On Friday it was +3c when I picked up my 1260. Once I got going I actually felt the need to lower the power to medium as my hands started to get a bit clammy inside my Dainese Scout Evo gloves. My hands were toasty, whereas the old DVT when it was approaching 0 degrees C you struggled to be able to tell if they were even on.
Gearbox - The quickshift is a little quirky compared to others I've used. If you... -

I Just Bought A Ducati :-)
An Ex Corse backed National Championship winner that used to look like this...(No 65)
and now looks like this after being totally rebuilt to as new condition by a Danish Dealer / Owner...
I will however put another set of race body work back to it's Glory Days as I feel this is only right.
A new bike - Norwegian Championship winner from a Danish Dealer secured when in the office of a Swedish owned company where I work and a new Finish biker chick girlfriend all in the same week - life is sometimes very very strange indeed and full of ups and downs, but this particular 'up' ................ I like it a lot -

Audi Tt S Line - Newish Car Detail
2 day detail. Black Audi TT.....6000 miles on clock and had been washed at the local polish wash and scratch....covered in swirls and wash marring and deep marks from a drying blade. Full interior clinical cleanse and all surfaces treated to Gtechniq interior protection package, leather, trim and fabric. All exterior glass coated - x 2 to windscreen. Clearcoat on this thing was like something from the planet Krypton...hard as nails!!....13 hours alone just machine correction - protection in the form of nanocoat ( Liquid Wurtzite Boron Nitride )....x 2 coats and vehicle left overnight undercover on 2nd night for nanocoat to fully cure....wheels deep cleansed and coated with Liquid Crystal. Sorry for the below par images but time was really against me on this one given the hardness of the clearcoat...customer was speechless.....and another one added to my bi-weekly maintenance package. -
Rob Lewis = Top Man
I would like to personally thank vehicle detailer Rob Lewis for giving up his time for me earlier. After randomly messaging him on this forum with a question regarding the paint work on my 899, he quickly replied to me requesting I gave him a call as he could explain things to me in detail easier over the phone. Rob was a really pleasant guy, who was in no rush and explained to me about the issue I had and the products I could use to help resolve my issue. He couldn’t have been more kind, helpful and friendly! I would like to wish him all the best in his detailing/valeting business and look forward to seeing future threads on his detailing work.
Just goes to show how many people there are in this forum who are willing to help others when in need!
Thanks again and all the best! -
Finally...ducati In The Shed.
Hi all...after thinking of getting a 'Duc' for a looooong time, I finally pushed the button and picked up this half-faired 900SS. I've been hankering after a Sports Classic but the prices on those are out of my league, so when this popped up I had to have it. Love the white frame and 'engine out' look of this bike. It's now been treated to an open clutch cover with Ducabike plate, caps and springs. I've also fitted a set of Exiges finest cables, now fires up like a good 'un! Just after a set of high-level carbon cans for it now.
Sorry about the lack of bins in the pic...must do better! -
848 848 Evo Back From Italia Moto And Happy!
Hey all, I have purchased a few bits and bobs from people on this forum over the last 6 months and finally got the bike back from Italia Moto today. It’s dry so managed a quick 30 miles just to give it a go. What a difference! In a nutshell I have had plenty of carbon goodies fitted but main things the ECU flashed by a forum member, 02 sensors removed, exhaust servo removed, dropped to a 14t sprocket, sprint air filter, the ohlins ttx rear and correct spring fitted. A different bike. Thanks all that supplied parts and advice, and Italia Moto for fantastic sevice
