For Sale Off Sale
lovely bike currently snuggled up to a radiator in my house, mot until next August, only a couple of previous owners, 1994 model although these were only made between 1994 and 1996, condition is very good.
Had a full top end engine rebuild this year at a specialist in rvf's, previously won championships on these.
Mileage around 14,000
A respectable 63bhp, the rear has been slightly raised, a mod that improves turn in and turn in it does.
Not going to advertise elsewhere at present, delivery is available as I have a van.
Bike needs nothing, only imperfection I can see is the rvf logo on the front fairing is in yellow instead of white.
Hart sticker and exhaust sticker now removed, also top radiator is not standard it's a copy but works as it should, nice quick smooth bike, around £1400 of engine rebuild receipts.
£5,995 I will listen to offers but honestly not much movement. -
She's Home

And my sincere apologies to all the bin lovers out there,I couldn't be bothered to move them into shot, bad show I know!! -

Just A Quick Hello To Fellow 851 Riders
Been a while since my last visit. Purchased this little beauty a few years back. Not perfect but around the roads of Mid-Wales where I live now it is just close to sublime. -
Wm Snells
What a fabulous group of chaps!
I recently had to contact them as I needed the service book bring up to date, as well as a couple of copies of receipts.
These days one is more often meet with an unwillingness to help or data protection bollox or dealers wanting £100 for just about anything.
WM snell displayed a level of care, and helpfulness that has probably not been seen since the 1950's.
Great bunch and a pleasure to deal with! -
Hello All

749 Louigimoto/cjs Remap
Got my 749R in at LouigiMoto for a "big service" and a CJS re-map.
Bike has Supersport kit heads/cams/injectors/57mm system etc.
Rich has carried out cam dialling in and valve clearance check etc all good and in spec.
Icing on the cake is Chris has found an additional 6-ish rwbhp compared to before - which is nice.
This bike has always been an absolute hoot to ride - the way it takes off from 6K is addictive!

A Work Of Art, From Scott Leathers.
A few years ago I bought a 2 piece set from Scott Leathers. To say I was chuffed was
an understatement.
Made to measure, they fitted me perfectly.
Man logic created the need for a 1 piece, with knee sliders for track days and vented leather to stop me from sweating, as I try to scratch them.
I like Dianese but off the peg doesn't fit me. So I went back to Scott.
All good things come to those that wait. They took their time but if you want craftsmanship you have to wait and it was worth every minute and every penny. Better finished than Dianese with no glued on bits and no glue splashes round the edge of letters etc.
I'm not knocking Dianese, their stuff is really nice.... but this fits me. Puurrrrrfectly.
They'll do whatever design you want, it's nice to have your own personal set. I'd thoroughly recommend a made to measure set for anyone and I'd thoroughly recommend a trip to Barnard Castle to get measured by Jim at Scott Leathers.
I'm certainly not paid for this, they... -
I Finally Own A Ducati
Hi all
It has been a while since I could afford to buy a Ducati but I wanted my first time to be special I was 13 when the Ducati 916 was launched got my license when they were leading the SBK world and after over 20 years I own one, and not just any 916; a 916 Senna. I know mechanically they are just as a normal 916 and cosmetically the colours are not to everyone's taste. But I honestly don't care and I looove it -
V4 Uncovering Some Of The Smaller Details
Whilst at the NEC a couple of weeks back, I was interested to see (in the absence of a workshop manual) how the V4 was put together. In pursuit of my curiosity, I took a few photos of the naked bike, in the hope of revealing a few things about how it all fits together, which will prove helpful when it comes to stripping the bike down. Here's a little of what I learned. Warning...picture heavy!!
These allen headed bolts located on the frame, are the mounting points for the fairings
The starter motor is minute!
Still unclear as to whether the air filter can be removed from inside the airbox or from the casings in front of the frame.
Rear shock is mounted to a two part bracket that bolts to the rear of the engine casings.
It partially obstructs the rear header, which means exhaust changes are going to be a PITA.
Blow by pipe, the main injector harness, a few bolts holding the throttle bodies to the manifolds and the airbox to the frame and this whole assembly can be removed leaving... -

916 I Finally Got One...
Hi All,
I wanted to share my excitement for finally getting a 916 and it just happens to be a Senna. I was 13 when these bikes came out and got my license when they were leading the SBK world and after over 20 years I own one.
Expect a lot of questions as I quickly found out it is not as reliable as my 5JJ R1 -

Ducati World At Mirabilandia Leisure Park
The new entertainment area will fully showcase the Ducati brand
Mirabilandia Park is located in the Emilia-Romagna region, birth place of Ducati
Roller coasters and virtual reality, but also a showroom and children’s attractions
Borgo Panigale (Bologna, Italy), 27 November, 2017 - Ducati Motor Holding and Parques Reunidos, one of the world's leading leisure park operators, have signed an agreement to develop Ducati World at Mirabilandia. 1098 1098 R Restoration
Some of you may remember that I've had a successful year winning the Hungarian 1000cc Open Championship with my 1098R. At times, actually most of the time I felt like I was David fighting the Goliaths that are much newer BMW 1000RRs, Suzuki GSXR-1000s and Kawasaki ZX10Rs but even though my bike was almost 10 years old it was still competitive. It pulls like a train onto fast straights, better than a Pannigale 1299S in that regard and I could outbreak absolutely everybody else in the championship so they can keep their ABS ;-)
But now it's the end of the season and time to strip the bike down, fix anything that needs fixing, clean everything meticulously and reassemble ready for a new owner. The work is being done by my crew chief Malcolm Ashley who used to race Ducatis in BSB some years ago. Malcolm is a perfectionist and we are going to take photos along the way to record the work.
Here was the bike earlier this year at a practice session where I was trouble shooting various... -
For Sale Ducati 996 Sps
Ok, so after the SP2 found a new home, it is time to do the same for the SPS.
1999, and as far as I can see completely standard.
2,500 miles (only 200 done in the last 3 years) MOT history backs this up.
Kept either in the garage or dining room (depending if I have a girlfriend or not at the time......)
Looks to have never had paint, original excellent plastics.
Not "as new" like some may claim but truly excellent condition.
No issues.
Regularly started and warmed up but I suppose it would need a belt service and tyres if the intention was to use it as intended.
2 previous keepers, the first keeper had the bike until 2014 and although was kept in storage unfortunately the original service book was lost (believable tragic end, same thing happened with the Honda SP2).
Adam at V-Duo recommissioned the bike, which was then sold to someone who only had the bike for 9 months.
The bike was then back in V-Duo when I bought it in Jan 2015.
Spare key and (from 2014) service book...
