Keswick is indeed north of Kendal, I don't live there but I do visit regularly. I had never heard of the Filling Station Caff but now that it has been mentioned I do know of a former filling station that is now a caff and often has bikes parked outside. It is on a bend, next to a junction, just off a busy roundabout and often has cars parked along the road opposite making it a tricky section of road to negotiate, often with lots of developing hazards. But it is no worse than lots of other hot spots in the Lakes. Petition signed. It is on Goole Maps if you want to take a look. Google Maps
