  1. Found a 2010 red 1198S with 4500 miles on the clock at ducati Manchester (deposit paid)

cant wait to takeout tomorrow and then all things well, she's mine.

its got the gold wheels and frame and was ideally after a black wheeled and framed 1198S but the gold is growing on me. Slowly!

i may find myself getting the wheels sprayed black at a later date (any decent sprayers recommended in the NW?) but in the meantime, I have a much awaited mint 1198S.

it has 4500 miles, 2 owners, full termi sys, levers, corse decal/covers, rear carbon hugger, k&n filter

im like a kid on Christmas Eve and may not sleep till then...... Haha

so until then, if anyone can sort out this s**t weather, it would b much appeciated.

    cheers

    az

  2. Enjoy your new purchase Az, if there's one piece of advice I would give you, don't paint the wheels, if you're not happy with the colour invest in some secondhand black Marchesini wheels but TBH the gold will grow on you:upyeah:

  3. It does make me feel good when I read a post like this. Motorbikes are like nothing else and trying to explain it to a non believer is a waste of time. So happy for you.

  4. Try explaining that to my wife as she continues to look confused like a dog that has just been told a joke.......'haha'

  5. I know it's a long shot and all depends on what I want to spend, but what would be a reasonable price for the second hand marchesini black wheels. I've head they are around £2800 new

  6. Try Ebay, Az you should be able to pick up a pair for around £1000 + depending on condition, but I would always try to keep your bike as original as possible, this will protect your resale value

  7. I would keep the gold ones but maybe I just need to chill out...... Haha
is it wrong that I'm set in my leathers already, 18 hours before I go out on my it ....... Haha

  8. Enjoy the bike

£6-800 should see you with a pair of wheels. Or you could spend 2k and get some carbon ones...

  9. Enjoy Az - my next choice also now the dust has settled over the 'gale.

  10. Good for you Az - have a great weekend!

  11. That all depends who you're sat next to:biggrin:

  12. Not sat now..... Walking the dog all leathered up with my lid on..... Haha 17hours to go..... Haha

  13. Excellent!

  14. Rage Designs in Warrington will sort the wheels, paints bike for JHP, Motocorse, maybe still DM anyway

  15. Get some carbon wheels.

  16. go on - get 'em - they tick the 'black' box and you will help me justify spending same on (gulp) a new exhaust..
