Hi All, Well after many, many months of deliberation I eventually signed on the dotted line and will now become the happy owner of a new streetfighter next March. Been interested in one since my mate got one a couple of years ago, (unfortunately he got knocked off after having only done 300+ miles and subsequently got shot of his). So after looking at some class used machines, I found an unregistered one with a full termi system at a local dealers. Went and viewed it yesterday and just couldn't help myself. The deal was done before I knew it. Looking forward to getting a few minor accessories before March and then riding the beast next summer. Also looking forward to accessing your knowledge of this great bike. Cheers
Nice one, welcome to the forum post a wish list you never know what Santa might bring you, of course at a cost!
Very nice, I've had my eye on that bike for a while now just couldn't make my mind up. J&l are a great dealer, I've ended buying all my bikes from them. Welcome to the forum

Welcome to the forum " Yeah me too ..... a few months were spent pondering looking at it on the net and then when I saw it in the flesh, well you know the rest. I agree with your comment, J&L staff are all great to deal with. I just wish March would come around a bit quicker ....... getting twitchy waiting and its costing me a fortune in Carbon ha ha at least I dont have to buy any Termis
I did the same thing when I bought my Streetfighter. I bought it in Jan '13 but told the dealer to keep it until March to register it as a 13 plate. The weather that year was terrible and I actually left it there until April and registered it then. I wasn't planning on using it, so it didn't matter. I remmber at the time that a few people were registering bikes early, the dealer told me they didn't want 13 on the plate. There are a lot of superstitious people out there it would seem.
A couple of years ago, I stayed with a friend in Beijing. In her rather posh apartment block, there were two missing floors - one was the 13th floor and the other was for the the equivalent Chinese unlucky number.
