  1. She's run in and I've finally got the initial service done. Just took her out for a blast round norfolk.
    Amazing,stunning,rapid,
What a machine. I love the quick shifter, the sound the effortless speed. The bike gets better the faster you ride it. Still got the chicken strips but that doesn't matter because I've got a grin from ear to ear.

  2. Glad you are enjoying it, you are now finding what many on here already know, motorcycling is a pleasure and Ducati is a passion. Andy

  3. Like you say when you ride it hard it just gets better :)

  4. I still think the breaks have slit of free play in them has anyone else experienced this.
Next year should be good. I'm moving to North Yorkshire so their will be miles of top end roads to blast.

  5. And again but this time in English :)

  6. Sorry.
The breaks still have abit of free play in them.
I get quite a lot of movement in the leaver before they bite.

  8. Get it sorted on your first service :)

  9. It's been serviced but no change. I might take a ride over.

  10. Take it back and get it sorted then :)

  11. Did anyone else have any issues with the brakes.

  12. no problems with my brakes.did you say anything to the dealer when they did the service

  13. Obviously not :)

  14. Nice help here gents.

  15. You have a new bike. Just reached first service stage. You are aren't happy with the brakes but you don't tell the Dealer at service time. You still aren't happy with the brakes after the service. You ask people on a forum about the situation. They tell you to take it back to get sorted.

    You're welcome. :)

  16. There's not much to go on is there? "A bit of play in the lever" is hardly descriptive. How much play / what does it feel like / do the brakes work ok once they do bite?

With a bit more information I'm sure someone would be happy to venture an opinion.

If it's a new bike though, I'd be inclined to go back to the dealer. They can test the brakes for you after all, whereas we will just be guessing!

  17. The manual says after 600 you can goto 7000rpm until 1000, is this what you guys do?

  18. mine is in for the first service on Friday and when its done anything goes. sticking to 6000 revs is like being in a room with a naked supermodel and not being able to touch her. after Friday I will be able to touch
