So my first "designed in the 21st Century" bike is (possibly) imminent and can you believe it, it shall be the first with ABS. I am not a quick rider – 5/10 with 1 being a nanny and 10 Rossi. Chicken strips 10mm – no knee down My tendency is to set the following; Traction Control and ABS Set to kick in quickly - 0-10 with zero off - say 7 Wheelie Control set for small Wheelies 0-10 with zero off say 7 again
Leave it factory standard, ride it and if you find any of the 21st century safety features kicking in, then change the settings. Factory settings tend to be biased towards what some riders would describe as intrusive but new to you bike, I’d be erring on the side of caution. Andy
Definitely ride on standard settings first. I'm in a similar situation, just slowly tweaking things each time I ride (Mutley 1200 Enduro).
