Hi everyone, about to pick-up an 848 Evo on Saturday from Mitchell's in Inverness. I wasn't intending to but just dropped in last week on my way to the ferry, for a quick look around, and there it was. Bloody Hell! Stealth grey/black, Akrapovics, K-Tech suspension and a few other "goodies" and when it was started up it just hit me in the chest and I just had to have it. P/ex-ing my RC8R for it. Haven't ridden it, no time, but whatever its like I'll just sort it, with your help, and ride it. Been riding all sorts of bikes since 1978, and although I'm old and overweight I just can't get interested in anything other than sportsbikes. And this is one hell of a sportsbike.
Hi mate. Fantastic bike. Loads on this forum about making the bike a little easier to live with. 14T front sprocket, super pole (or other) seat, getting the suspension set up for you are a must. You'll love it once you get used to it.
