If anyone is going to Darley Moor next Monday May 7th. please come over and say Hello, this will be my first outing on the Monster "TT Special" I will be riding in the "Thunderfest" Event a time trial that is part of the normal race programme, I will be riding my normal #43. This event is just a little bit special to me, 3 days after my 71st Birthday, and 50 years after my first ever race which was at Darley Moor in April 1968. I have won this event twice in the past on my Thruxton Bonny, so I have high hope of a fairy tail first time out with the Ducati.
I am delighted to report that the "Monster TT" took me to 4th place in the Thunderfest event at Darley Moor on Monday. Even more pleased as the day marked 50 years since my first ever race in 1968, and 3 days after my 71st. Birthday. The bike ran like a dream after being set up on the Dyno by top racer Sam West. This weekend I will be taking part in the race bike parades at the Endurance Legends Event, Donnington Park.
Sorry I missed this, Darley Moor is my local circuit and I'm usually there weather permitting, well done, hopefully you'll be back and I'll have chance to say hello. Steve
