  1. not used bike all winter, combination of being in the dealer and being scared of any more corrosion! So good to get out today.

Didnt take long to get back into the swing and reminded just how do everything ths bike is. Sure its struggled to start, should have put on charge but forgot, but went first proper turn over and perfect from there

It goes it stops it turns and it handles. Who could want more

And it stops way better than my gixer, so ebay here i come!

  2. Took mine out yesterday for the first time in months. Like you say, feels good to get back out riding a bike in decent weather.

  3. Mine got doused in fs365 to try and neutralise any salt whe I got back as it was starting to ran and couodnt wash of. Have to wait until tomorrow, then acf it again

  4. Also first time out since mid September yesterday. Showed 17c on the dash, it felt great.
Started easily, no problems at all. Tried a few miles in sport mode but things happen too fast for an old un like me so back in touring.
Great bike, next problem is wheather to buy a new model or not?
Anybody got a Termignoni slip on end can for sale?

  5. Where was you Bradders when the rain came, I left Boxhill 2:30 ish as it came over really grey and looked like it was going to chuck it down

  6. Was spitting at Popham airfield about 2, then on/off all the way back to Gosport

  7. I was out at Loomies yesterday not a million miles from there, was a nice ride out the 272 was fairly clear off traffic and the road wasn't to bad, was a nice blast out.
Got out again today for another blat definitely blown the winter blues away.

  8. A trip out on the bike really does lift the spirits at this time of year.

  9. I've also had 3 rides out in the last week, the first since October. Great to be out on the bike again. Took a while to settle down to a sensible pace :)

  15. Me too. :D
First time out since Oct, started on the button and ran sweet. Just a shortish run up to Padstow and back, some of the bends were a bit dusty (& me a bit rusty;)) so took it a bit steady. Slight misting of the dash but cleared again by the time we got back, but then the misses following on her Daytona675 had the same (if not worse) on hers.
I'll have to keep an eye on the fuel gauge, full when I started, only showing 3 bars when I got back after 80 miles??
Great to be back out though!!:upyeah:

  16. I dusted mutley off and went up the London which is only 20 miles for me, on the way there I was loving the front wheel pawing the air away from the lights and once in town stuck her in urban mode an she was docile as hell and smooth.

Tell me what other bike is as adaptable as that!

  17. Out for the second time today and went to the local dealer to see the Ducati Road Show. The new Multistrada was there on display only, not for demo yet. It does look very nice, apart from the front mudguard every part looks different to my 2013 model. Seat is lower but sat on it the tank is wider which makes the front seem bigger.
Bit disappointed with mine as engine management light came on today with "error" on the display and running a bit rough. Have left it with the dealer to get it sorted early next week.

  18. Richard, I was at riders yesterday too. I liked the look of the new Multi. Still deciding between a new Multi and a Monster 1200s.
Looks like the Multi should be in to try in April? That could be Italian time though, so maybe May.

I can't believe the number of people who keep their Duc hibernated during winter! Like me

  19. I was at Riders yesterday too, I was down for a test ride on the new multi until riders said that Ducati weren't bringing one to demo. But they brought one but only to look at tw@ts :mad:

  20. What a pack of soft tarts, I've been riding mine all winter, I just wash and blow dry her before bringing her into the house to stand by a nice warn radiator and a sheep skin blanket. Even Duke the cat finds the warmth irresistible
