Mega impressed with sports mode. Got the bike which is a 2013 s touring end of last summer and due to the weather and first service only being done in in October it's just been used in urban mode. Until today. Went for a little run upto devils bridge about 35 miles round trip as had to be back for plumber coming so couldn't go further. Suprised how quick it is in sports mode especially in gear acceleration. Not sure if it's because the bars could do with being a few inches further back for my shorts arms or it's just the shear torque of the bike but I struggled to hold on a bit when bike was pulling hard. May have to look at some risers to raise them up and back a little. Did the same on my old 1150gs and made a big improvement.
Where do you live Psallis? I'm up Devils most weekend and quite often during the week. mind you I was up devils last Saturday and there was 2 other Multistrader's there, not one of them spoke either to me or each other, miserable feckers! I took the bar risers off my bike to try and take some pressure off my coccyx, I had to get shorter bolts, just for your info they are a fine metric thread M10 x 1.25 pitch
Hi mate. In heysham near Lancaster. Wasn't me ha as wasn't up last weekend. Did risers on my gs and made a work of difference. Something I may look into but I guess with seating position and power will always have to hold on tight
Nice to know your so close, if you fancy a ride out one of the days drop me a pm. Cant this week as I'm off to Brands for the BSB this week end back Tuesday, but most other days I'm itching to get out and meet somebody I'm sick of riding alone (*plays violin in the back ground)
This place is turning into bloody lonely hearts! Lol Next thing you know it'll be will they, won't they! :Stop: Joking aside - nothing beats riding with similar minded bikers on good roads.....
I'm on Walney Island. I'll be the one wearing the Blue carnation and the biker beard next weekend up devils
