Was asked about starting a 1299 for the first time in 11 months. Had been serviced with fresh oil etc before having to be laid up. Battery is good, been on a maintainer. Anything to consider? I thought without going to the hassle of removing plugs that sticking it in 6th and turning the back wheel on a stand would get some oil around the engine before firing it up?
