Hi All! Just wanted to say Hi! I'm picking up my 899 Panigale from the dealers on Saturday, will have the termignonis and a light sprinkling of carbon bits. It's my first Ducati and first brand new bike. My previous bikes: Honda Hornet CB600FS, Honda VFR800 VTEC, Kawasaki ER-5 and currently in the garage a CG125 and a Honda VFR800 VTEC - the VFR will probably be chopped in against the 899. A few questions I'm looking to get answered: Does anyone ever fit a ScottOiler to their 899? Are there any good threads on brake maintenance/cleaning? I'm very interested in the LED headlight upgrade but maybe I'll wait until it's out of warranty and I've seen you can swap out the brake calipers for bigger badder 1199 ones. Liam

Hello and welcome to the mad house Would have said hello earlier only you have some technical questions and I get told off for leading the locals astray
Hi Thanks for the hellos! Oops for the dress down on forum etiquette. 5 more sleeps ... Until "D" day. Liam
It's ok we will let you off this time We used to have a bit of fun with newbies then technical questions got lost so now we have to behave
Hi I picked the bike up on Saturday. First thing I did was get the Venture Shield fitted by BodyGuard UK over in Daventry. Very impressed with their attention to detail - the guy there even custom made some bits that weren't part of the 3M layout to protect a few more bits of the bike. I'd definitely recommend BodyGuard for getting your bike covered, there was a queue of bikes in before me. Ventureshield - Ventureshield Car Paint Protection Film Specialists My 899 is already waiting for it's first bit of warranty work. The clutch cover paint was coming off even before I had picked it up so they will replace that on the first service. I've done 211 miles so far so the first service isn't too far off. Liam
