Hi guys my mrs has booked me a track day for my 30th will be my first, I have the ducati agv stealth sv-4 helmet it does not have a gold star sticker on and the guy said if it don't have the gold star then they will not let me do it? So what helmets have the gold star? That's not gonna cost the earth?
I can remember when i fell off on track, the medics saying, if my helpmet was damaged they would remove part of the gold stcker.. weird?
Which track? You could always call them in advance and ask. My Schuberth C3 doesn't have a gold sticker but both Mallory and Cadwell didn't have any problem with it.
I've had various helmets that come without the sticker and have never had any problem. You'll be fine.

The bloke on the phone was probably the bloke who does the noise testing at Snetterton who forgive my French is a complete twatjibsworthfucktwatbastardknobterdwanker. A total load of bollocks for a trackday. An ACU approved helmet is not needed. Whoever told you it was required is full of shit. The lid you have is fine, go play and enjoy.
As above. Don't worry about it. I've never had a sticker checked for. By the way I have the same helmet as you. Hope you have ear plugs mine whistles like a bastard.
