I get it, having a pair of fog lights is nice, and can help in certain low visibility situations. But when did fog lights become mirrors from the mod days? I saw a GS (shocker) rider with 4 pairs slapped to various other slapped on parts. All lit and it was blinding... Why? And more often than not, I ride past riders with 2 pairs on as standard now. It just looks stupid, trashy and beyond over the top. And fog lights in broad daylight? I personally don't see how this helps with making you more 'visible'. Sure, people will pay attention but only because it's fucking annoying. /rant
I also regularly see bikes with multiple pairs of extra lights fitted, I don’t get it but each to their own I suppose.
So that is what they carry in the panniers. Extra batteries for the running lights. And also to store Polite hi viz tops
It is an offence to have the fog lights on when it is not foggy, and the driver/rider can be fined for it My parents were done in their car many years ago, the regular headlights were shite Shame the police only want to catch speeding motorists these days
