Anyone came across decent folding mirrors for there 748? I need to get the bike down an alleyway to the garage and it’s gonna be tight with the original mirrors
Only come across two kinds which are foldable. Both are DP accessories and expensive. The carbon ones are good but use plastic instead of glass. I took mine to a glass place and had them stick some thin mirror glass onto the plastic. Then the vision was really good. The alloy ones look a bit shit tbh…
Stopped years ago mate but they do pop up every now and then. On a good day you might bag a pair for £200 to £250.
I used to store my 748 down a narrow alleyway, so took out the brass retaining bolts so that when storing the bike, I could just ping off one or both of the mirrors to park it up. The other two connectors held the mirrors in place the rest of the time and never looked like they were going to pop off.
