Well done to the womens team. Top result. Everytime I watched it and the fans were giving it some, I always thought of St Trinians. I mean that in a good way. It good that young girls have something for themseleves.
I don't do football full stop but some friends had the box switched on yesterday, so i got to see the last twenty minutes and when the goal scorer went to remove her top i thought well hello this might be ok.

My comment to Nelson about seeing the light was only made in fun. It was never my intention to take the thread away from our girls’ achievement.After all football is not a matter of life and death , it is far more important than that to quote Shankly.

I couldn’t give less of a shit about football. I think it’s great what these ladies have achieved though. The mens teams couldn’t certainly learn a thing or two.
