in the process of making some adjustable footpegs that I can produce at a sensible price point that isn’t made from mad materials in China. What do you think so far?
Look good. Are these adjustable for height only, I'm assuming design with the serrations allows adjustment in only one direction?
Looks good. Just an idea.the pegs for proper enduro bikes have grub screws wound into the serated tops so they grip mx boots better. If you choose to do any larger style one's closer to the mts enduro peg size, that would be worth doing too.
Would having an oval bit of the peg that goes into the mount make it rotatable slighly? Ignore the terrible drawing, but you get the idea
Or even just a fully round one so it can rotate all the way round within the serrated bit of the mount
Problem with the round ones is I’m having to compete with the cheap Chinese ones and I can’t make them pay unless people really value british made.
Really good project, and I agree for the actual shape cause I don't like pegs that rotate... It makes me feel less stable. The ride height, is perpendicular to the ground? So it will not mess with the movement of the peg, right? I had the Gilles sport pegs, really good but with this little defect. The previous owner had a little slide and since they couldn't fold completely they broke in two some time later, while I was using them of course XD
I had a set of the Gilles adjustable ones but the rotation part was so wide I found I had to rotate my toe in to change gear. Your design seems to eliminate this, so looks very interesting. A rubber bung in the top would probably help sales to non Enduro riders?
Rare and expensive when available s. hand (£££) Chinese are available for £7 pair delivered but poor quality!
