Although I will be returning the bike under what is left of the warranty, (October) I need to know, has anyone on here experienced the chrome surfacing flaking off the fork leg. (Marazocchi) I was giving my multi a post expedition ride to find areas of chrome flaking off the bottom of the fork leg. Its in small patches at the front inside of the fork which is concealed by the mudgard. Disappointment is an understatement although I suppose the summer is all but over for this year.
That's a fault and weakness of the Ohlins forks. They all do that regardless of which make of bike they are attached to.
