That will go for mega bucks. Early 2000s. The motor is a 900 SSie lump. I seem to remember that there was a copyright issue relating to MH (Mike Hailwood) at the time.
With fees that could be £30k. This has been for sale for 12 months. Last private one I saw was £16,000 which seems more accurate IMO.
I sold my MH900E about 4 or 5 years ago for 22,500 pounds in a private sale. It was to have been my forever bike but my poor old body said no more!
Needs to rewrite the advert, all Ducatis are run at the factory as part of the process ……. so it has been run. Andy
You could have put a warning in the title that once seen, never unseen and not safe for anyone with taste to look at! Has to be the most hideous looking Ducati, probably bike, ever made!
Whilst I will concede there are many prettier bikes, the Multi in any form is not one of them. These MH900E have style & cool in spades.
There was a colleague of mine who purchased a Ford Scorpio as a company car, pig ugly. But he rightly stated when he is driving it he cannot see how ugly it is. However that wouldn’t sway me.
I think now, and always have, that that MH99E is stunning. I used to think the original Multistrada was ugly until I owned a couple. They grow on you, and it's only the front that looks odd. If you want fugly, just look at KTMs' catalogue.
This is my MH. For you that think it’s ugly, that’s not been my experience. When I go to a MotoGP Ducati always puts it up front near its newest bikes. It draws by far the most attention. Ducati always ask me if I will park it in the lobby of their official GP hotel. It’s won best of show at the Quail Motorcycle Gathering. It’s won best of show at the Ducati Cafe in L.A. Ducati ask if Mike Hailwood’s son could ride it in the lap of honor at the 2011 IOM TT. It doesn’t sound like the rest of the Ducati world shares your opinion.
Only a blind man with a big wallet of drug money (would be bigger but they sampled too much) would buy that monstrosity
