Dark Blue Ford SWB Hightop Transit Van We are selling our dark blue short wheelbase (SWB) high top Ford Transit van due to no longer requiring a van. The van was supplied by Ford with blacked out rear windows, rear carpeted/sound deadened and rear barn doors, note that the centre windows also have opening sections for ventilation in the rear. The previous owner then had the van professionally equipped with two rear seats, wheel chair hydraulic ramp, wheel chair mounting points and additional lighting. The rear seats are mounted on the rear wheel arches and swivel/fold away to provide a larger loading space. The ramp although built for a wheelchair is rated and capable of lifting 300kg's making it ideal for loading a motorbike or heavy loads. Once loaded the lift folds away in the rear of the van. Since we purchased the van from the original owner it has been used as a 3rd car, general purpose van and for transporting motorcycles. It's an ideal vehicle for any motorcycle track-day enthusiast, racer or could be easily converted into a camper with a little work. Condition: The van overall is in good condition and has had only one previous owner, it has been well maintained and has done little millage for a vehicle of this type. The bodywork shows no signs of rust, but there are age related marks/scratches including a key mark on the off-side of the van. The off-side wing mirror is also cracked but functions perfectly and the rear bumper is showing some signs of cosmetic damage. Inside the front seats show little sign of use, all controls are in good working order, the drivers seat comes with an arm rest and the van has auto lights/wipers which are unusual for a van of this year/age. The rear seats have three point seat belts, when locked in position the seat back can also be adjusted making them quite comfortable. If incorrectly set the to of the seat can touch the window, which has caused some minor marks to the privacy glass. As you can see from the photo's it's in good condition inside/out and for a van looks reasonably smart. We are asking £6,500.00 ono, the van is located near Warminster, Wiltshire.
