  1. Ducati why have you done this?! No hole in the bottom yoke to accept a headstock stand. Ridiculous. Rant over. :)

  4. The 749R does have an hole in the bottom nut. But the 749R is an homoligation model for racing. the standard bikes aren't

  5. is the R pin ( also hub ) of a bigger diameter,, I might be a bit concerned re the structural integrity of a drilled out pin,,, ( just a thot )
if dimensions are the same then could you not replace with / buy an R pin,

  6. With my 999 i remove the stem spigot from my front stand and put the spigot securing pin back in. Place it under the yoke as if it was in a stem hole and loop a thin ratchet strap through the machined holes in top yoke and under the paddock stand bar. Tighten the ratchet strap so it goes in front of the securing pin so it cant slip off the end of the bar. Works a treat, go easy raising the stand but once its up its secure.

  8. What model and year? My 03 749 mono has a 27mm hole in the bottom triple clamp and works with a pin type stand.

  13. Ducati workshop stand has a flat pad.....ratchets up. My local dealer loaned me it over a bank holiday.

Not brave enough to drill holes

Seems to be an 05 s thing
