Hi all, can anyone tell me if the forks should be level with to yokes mine aren't least 1" above the top yoke. Cheers steve

Those forks look about right. I've forgotten how many rings should be showing, but 5 rings a bell. It is OK to increase or reduce the height if you want less or more ride height - the headstock angle will increase or decrease a little but it will only marginally affect the handling. If you want more advice try multistrada.net, they still have many members riding aircooled Multis.
But mine is an 1100s and the factory workshop manual has these pictures but no specification that I could find easily. Now wondering if mine is wrong! Haha!
there is no "wrong" laava, the rings on the fork legs offer a slight tuning potential, simple as that.
