Can anyone recommend a good place for re chroming fork stantions? There is no rust, but both of the CBR stantions have some scoring, as well as a couple of stone chips. I can get new stantions for £112 each, would thus be a better route than re chroming?
I have used a place in Alton http://www.beckworth.net/ but I think it would be cheaper to get new ones? Caroming is now very expensive but more importantly there's a massive lead time. My last batch I had to wait 8 weeks.
