Hi Guys n Gals - lost password and recently retired means I had lost ability to request replacement password!! Anyway, had loads of Dukes in the past, 2 x darmah, 2 x carby 900ss, one 1200 Multistrada ( ugh) and a Cagiva Elephant. Currently running an old VFR and a BMW R1100RS, but the VFR is getting a bit cramped for me, so might like a Monster S4. There is one on Ebay in Ilkley, but is £4K a bit steep ?? With a bit of expected movement from his asking price I reckon it'd be about right. I recently brought one with twice the miles and with standard cans for about £500 less. The high level termis are quite rare so if I was to try and find some for mine I dare say I'd end up paying more than what he's expecting to get. I have to say I love mine, perfect for West Yorkshire roads. Having previously had a 748,999s and also a Cagiva Elefant.
Doesn't look too dodgy Dave, I'd go to see it and have a test run. I used to own an S4 and then a S4RS, but then I grew up and invested in a 1200s multi! Welcome back.
