Thanks to CR for popping by with his bike so I could take a look at it. From this I decided my rear height was wrong, evident with just a visual. Big thanks to Bettes for popping by, hope the coffee was ok.. Confirmed my 998 was too high at the rear end as I suspected. Which we soon put right with his set up kit. A few other minor things for me to consider and a job I need to do before I take it out. Exige for the o'rings for the fuel lines and my very first post on the forum where I received a brief run down on spec which prompted me to buy the 998S when I was considering anything that shape. And everyone else for constructive advice.. I love the bike... perhaps most won't like the analogy but to me it's like a sexy classic car. It can be appreciated with out even using it.. My only regret if I knew I would not have been spending as much on other things this year I would have bought an R but other than the limited edition factor - this should be very comparable. Looking forward to getting a quick suspension set up and taking it out..
