  1. High Guys.

Thanks for the welcoming messages !

I did join a Duke Forum last year but it was for the USA which I did not know at the time, did post a couple of messages on there but did not get many replies.

I have just ordered a rear hugger from powerbronze for my Scrambler, anyone else fitted one yet ?
For me So far so good with the Scrambler, one little niggle, I think the lower gearing [1st & 2nd gear] could be better/smoother in slow moving traffic , other than that its a great/fun bike to ride.

    Cheers

  2. They all do that, Sir...

  3. Welcome Greaser :upyeah:

  4. Old Rider.
Its my 1st Duke , but all I can say when I had my 1st test ride it was on the icon & the gearing on the icon was with a doubt different from the independent, in fact it was quite the opposite I found it sharp & snatchy in the lower gears especially 1st gear, my Thruxton is much the same, but this obviously did not put me off buying one.

  5. welcome Dave :)

  11. hello and welcome dude.
maybe a sprocket change may sort the issue? Pop a thread up in the scrambler section to see what others are running?

  12. Yes I have done sprocket thing with other bikes, but I think I will stick with it & get use to the Duke I don't really want to alter all the gearing on it which changing a sprocket does.

  13. Pretty much normal practice.
The bike is geared for top speed.
Do you really need that ??

  14. Quote "Pretty much normal practice" what is Changing the rear sprocket ?

As I said previously I don't want to alter "all of the gearing" which changing either front or rear sprocket would do...but I suppose if I did pop another rear sprocket on to get rid of the issue with 1st & 2nd gear it would mean perhaps one with a couple more teeth...:sunglasses:
