I’m in the process of building a 900ss cafe racer. I’m looking for some alloy frame bungs but can’t find any for a 93 SS. I’ve found some for the early carb monster 600,750,900. Does anybody know if the engine mount tubes are the same diameter? Ive included a couple of pics as I know everyone loves pics!
Hicksy, on my 1996 M900 the rear frame bung tube ID is 20mm, the front one is ID 21mm, I can’t measure the ones on my 1991 900ss as someone in the dim and distant past appears to have glued them in!. ID = Internal Diameter of the tube.
Fronts 21, rears 20 on my frame, Unknown’s age or model, but the bike is a 900 as it sits. They look the same as my old 750 and 400 if I’m honest.
Try buzzer on here, he’s a fabricator he made some bungs for his own project. Maybe he’d be willing to make some for a fee obvs he could maybe run a batch up? I’d be up for some on my old knackered Monster. @buzzer would you be willing and able?
