Hi, thought I might actually get an easy job but, alas, no. Has anyone changed their under seat frame panels, any tips or do I have to take the bike apart? ;-) Cheers
There are screws inside of the subframe, pretty sure you have to remove the tank. Definitely the seat.
Pretty easy dude, remove the metal bracket at the bottom on the tank nearest the seat. Slacken the 2 at the front that go into the frame Then the whole tank will lift up just prop it in situ then undo what you need to. Then bolt back together
The fuel line may be in the way but it just pops out with a push just be careful not to snag it when you re fit the tank
Fitted ok but left side is a really bad fit. Have emailed Carbon King to query. Should be flush with frame. Thanks for help mate.
