Just seen one go past my house. Screws up another chance for weekend riding - unless we get some decent rain to wash away before then. Is it that bloody cold, or are the gritters just as gagging to get out as the bikers, due to mild winter and lack of muck spreading opportunities??!!
A few rides in 'dry' grit wont hurt the bike at all. Prolonged expose to the stuff when wet is what really leads to problems. Don't be such a pussy ummy:. Ride, wash, repeat
Lol - I might just do that, esp if it does dry up - "dry" salt = just tend to dust the whole bike off?
So when theres ice about when you go for your ride and you come off because the gritters hadnt been out, what would you say then ?
The gritters have been going around my area to, don't know why its not icy outside, probably got to get rid of it all before the new tax year but today was raining thats a shame
Not sure where you are, but I follow Surrey Travel on Twitter and they say which routes have been it need gritting
Get out and ride the bike, power wash it after, ACF50, then away you go again! It's quite simply, GOT TO BE DONE!
Im sure my company supplies Surrey Travel with info somewhere along the line. Anyway, it snowed south of Ipswich overnight :Coldfeet:
Well, all was well, weather beaut and a very enjoyable 60ish miles on back roads and bendyish A's. Glad I took the don't be a pussy route lol. Cheers, Andrew.
Yep been a fine day went out for a couple of hours and had a pit stop at McDonald's, big eye opener riding a 4 stroke been 9 years since last on one, :Wacky:
