Do any of you knowledgable chaps know if there is an official box I can buy for paying tolls as I drive a car through France and Italy? I don't mind if I have to buy one for each country but I had a look online and most of the websites I found looked a bit scammy so thought I'd seek advice from more experienced Euro travellers. I reiterate, this is for the car not the bike. Thanks in advance
Hi, Regarding Italy, you can buy a "Telepass" ( Telepass.it: - Home page) only if you have a current bank account in Italy. The other option is to buy a prepaid card ( Viacard) that you can use on any toll station in Italy.

I recently booked a channel crossing on the tunnel and was sent an 'offer' for a French toll card/box but I'm not keen on setting up a direct debit with a French company so will just pay as I go.
