Can someone with a 1200 stick a tape measure through their front axle and tell me how long it is? I want to be sure that the 1260 and 1200 have the same length. Here is a picture of measuring mine on my 1260. Thanks!!
From my quick check, the part numbers for the front wheel spindles on the 1260 and 1200 (MY2015) are the same [81910601A].
Yeah, I noticed that too Steve, I just wanted a double check to be sure that was correct, because I was ordered axle sliders for the 1200 (the site didn't list the 1260) and now that they've arrived, they are too long. So, are the sliders wrong, or are the axles different lengths? Since they are the same numbers, I'd assume the sliders are wrong, but I wanted to know for sure.
I have R&G sliders front and back on my 1200S. I'm picking my 1260S up tomorrow and have been told by my dealer it will be a straight swap.
Yep, they should be. T-Rex Racing sent me a new set of sliders for the 1200 and they fit my 1260 perfectly; they just sent the wrong ones first apparently.
