Hello everyone! After a slow speed drop (swearing swearing swearing), I have a few minor scratches on the front brake lever and the handlebar end. If I were to replace these things, would you have any advice for that? Looking on ebay I found these levers https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-9...532475?hash=item3606df50bb:g:F38AAOSw6n5Xqdzh They seem to be very well priced (compared to CNC, for example), has anyone ever tried those? Or what else would you suggest? Also, any advice in terms of bar end sliders? Thanks
Sorry to hear of your mis hap Bar end weights I've gone evo-tech. My advice is use a 12mm Allen key to remove the stock weights, not pipe grips!
Hiya I would not go for the light bar ends. I found using the heavier screw in type worked best for me when changed mine. trouble is they are usually a bit more money than the featherweight ones. heavier ones felt better and for some reason helped the vibes on my hands but that could just be a placebo effect.
I had the DP bar ends which looked good but they made my hands go numb so went back to the original ones which are much heavier
I have ASV levers and cnc racing bar ends on the 899. The levers are a step up from the oem ones and probably worth the money.
I bought the folding evotech levers as I ride to tracks and if I have a minor spill theres more of a chance of them not snapping. They are reasonable price unlike the dp upgrades. I did find though I couldn't get all my fingers on the clutch lever which felt weird at first and a bit more tiring
